Welcome to Probus Primary School

COVID-19 UPDATE - Updated 28th May

Dear Parents,
We are looking forward to seeing some of the children in school next week. If you responded to our questionnaires last week requesting a place in school, then you will have been sent a letter via Arbor.
This letter outlines whether your child has or has not been offered a place in school. (If you have not received a letter confirming a place for your child, please do not come to school until further notice.) I'd like to also remind everyone that Probus School will be open from Tuesday 2nd June, not Monday 1st June.

I have received a number of enquiry emails from parents whose children have not been allocated places and, whilst I understand that this is disappointing news, I'm afraid that the places have been allocated through adherence to DfE guidelines and prioritisation advice - our Pods are at capacity.
Should circumstances or staffing complement change then you will be contacted.

Kind regards,
Lyn McNamara
Strategic Partner

Welcome to Probus Primary School!  Originally built as a Wesleyan Day School in 1901, we are situated in a rural village just a few miles outside Truro, surrounded by rolling hills and farmland.

It is my pleasure and privilege to be Executive Principal of such a happy school, alongside Miss Caroline Wood, Head of School.  Our dedicated staff have the highest aspirations for all our children and are committed to nurturing and developing children’s learning.  We believe that every child is entitled to a rich and inspiring education that will nurture them as well-rounded individuals with the confidence, the ability and the desire to make the world a better place.

If you would like to know more about our school or arrange a visit then please call us and make an appointment.  We look forward to meeting you!
