TRANSITION TO NURSERY
We offer a comprehensive induction programme for pupils prior to starting Probus Nursery which is designed to allow the children to become familiar with staff and routines and for parents to meet with the staff.
Once your little one starts with us (a nervous time for child and adult alike at times!), you are welcome to stay with your child until you both feel settled and the fun and excitement of new toys and activities kicks in and you are able to leave with a smile on your face too!
Information for prospective nursery parents is sent out in the summer term for our main intake in September.
TRANSITION TO RECEPTION CLASS
Our nursery staff aim to ensure smooth transition through EYFS and into the school's Reception Class (if your child secures a place with us).
All rising-5 children will experience life in the Reception class - 'Acorns', with regular visits to the 'big' classroom, meeting their teachers and having lots of fun in a new environment.
Information for our new Reception Class starters is sent out to all parents with Probus offers in the summer term.
