Probus Nursery, an integral part of the Probus Primary School community, serves the village of Probus and its surrounding communities including Tresillian, St Michael Penkivel, Helland, Trelowthas, Lamorran and the Tregothan estate.

Specifically designed for children aged 2* to 4 years, our nursery offers an exciting and vibrant learning environment with a positive ethos and a warm family atmosphere that welcomes both children and their parents.  We have well-qualified, experienced, caring staff who enable us to provide the very best in pre-school nursery education.  The children are continually encouraged to explore new experiences, discuss and develop their interests and celebrate their wonderful ideas and cultural backgrounds.

We are very lucky to operate within the grounds of the main school, in our own building. We have access to all the main school equipment, including the playground equipment, fields, garden, hall for PE and computer suite. In addition, nursery resources include sandpits, water trays, trikes and bikes (whatever teh weather!).

Probus Nursery helps bridge the gap between pre-school and Reception Class, providing the very best start to your child’s learning journey.

 Flexible Nursery Sessions

 We accept children throughout the academic year, subject to availability. To suit your family's needs, we offer various session types at Probus Nursery:

• Morning sessions 5 days a week: 8.40am-11.40am
• Afternoon sessions: 5 days a week: 12.10pm-3.10pm
• All-day session: 5 full days: 8:40 am - 3.10 pm 

Before and afterschool childcare is available for children aged 3 to 4 years.
